Jim Hurst is a born and raised Greater Clevelander. Growing up in North Ridgeville, he attended St. John, Lutheran School in Elyria and Lutheran High School West in Rocky River. Jim is a 1990 graduate of Concordia University, River Forest, Illinois, graduating with a BA in elementary and secondary education with majors in English and Life Science. Jim taught in Lutheran elementary schools in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and Cleveland before joining the Calvary family as Deacon in 2000.

Jim loves to teach, hang with the youth group, spend time with his daughter, and work on classic cars with his car club.

His duties at Calvary include Youth and Education, Worship Technology and Planning, & Music Coordination. Please join Jim and the Calvary family in Showing Everyone Life in Christ!

Born and raised in the Cleveland area, Lisa attended Luther Memorial Elementary School and graduated from Lutheran West High School. She married in 1987 and has one son.

Lisa also worked as a Medical Assistant, Dental Assistant and Office Manager of the West Park Christian Reformed Church until the church closed in 2014.
